[The Metrodocs Reference Service Standards had their origin in a
joint project between Jeffrey Wilhite, University of Oklahoma Bizzell Library, and Steve Beleu, ODL. They tell customers what
they can expect from the reference services of seven federal depository libraries in the Oklahoma City area. Seven of the
eight Metrodoc libraries adopted them by vote in September 2000.]
