Selected maps of the State of Oklahoma are available for online viewing and download.

With original dimensions as large as 42" by 36," these maps are too large to make downloading higher-resolution images practical. Consequently, the maps have been divided into sections—separate files containing images that have a resolution of 72 dpi.

The Reconnaissance Erosion Survey
of the State of Oklahoma—1934

A color map that carefully delineates the types and levels of erosion that existed in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Erosion Survey of 1934 created the map. The U.S. Soil Conservation Service published it. Click here to see the map and get the whole story.
