Federal funds are vital to the provision of library services in Oklahoma. With the assistance of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), the last five years have been a time of growth and opportunity. 

The LSTA, coordinated through the Institute of Museum and Library Services, requires that states submit master plans each five years to establish goals and objectives for their use of these important federal dollars.
