The mission of the Oklahoma Commission
on Children and Youth (OCCY) is to improve services to
children by
- facilitating joint planning and
coordination among public and private agencies
- overseeing children's services
provided by public and private entities; and
- promoting innovative programs
through funding of model projects.
Using the mission statement as a
guideline, the Oklahoma Commission on Children and
Youth's staff and Commissioners strive to identify and
meet the needs of children, youth, and families of the
State of Oklahoma.
